Account & Security on Orbas Services

Your Orbas Services profile is the key to booking and managing professional help safely. This guide explains how to keep that key secure, update personal details, and alert us to anything suspicious.

1. Keep Your Account Safe

1.1 Use a unique, strong password

Create a password you’ve never used elsewhere—long, memorable, and made of three random words (e.g. lamp‑river‑violet). Avoid browser‑auto‑saved passwords; instead, store it in a reputable password manager.

1.2 Watch for phishing

Orbas will never ask you to reveal your full password, payment card details, or verification codes in email or chat. If a message feels urgent or off‑brand, ignore the link and contact support directly.

2. Update Personal Information

You can change your name, phone, email, or address any time:

  1. Go to Profile → Settings.

  2. Tap Edit next to the field you wish to change.

  3. Save and confirm via a short re‑auth prompt.

Personal data edits follow the same principles recommended by leading providers: always behind login, and sometimes protected by an additional auth step to prevent SIM‑swap attacks.

Tip: Updating your primary address refines service search results so you only see providers who travel to your area.

3. Manage Devices & Sessions

  • Active sessions – View and revoke any browser or mobile session from Profile → Security → Devices.

  • Logout everywhere – One‑tap kill‑switch if you misplace a phone or notice an unknown login.

4. Report Problems or Abuse

4.1 Flag a provider or listing

Open the listing, tap Report, choose a reason (misconduct, unsafe content, spam, etc.), and add optional notes or screenshots. The complaint is routed to our Trust & Safety team for review in line with global marketplace standards such as the INFORM Consumers Act.

4.2 Report suspicious account activity

If you spot logins from unfamiliar locations or unexpected password‑reset emails, immediately:

  • Change your password.

  • Revoke unknown sessions.

  • Contact support via Help → Security or email security@orbas.io.

All security tickets receive priority handling under our incident‑response SLA (6hr first reply).
